Meditative Breathwork - Cosmic Journey

Breathwork is relaxing, and sometimes it can also be a bit psychedelic! (In fact, a lot of people use it to prepare for psychedelic therapy or a plant medicine journey.) In this fun meditative session, we'll play with some of the more psychedelic mindsets and breath patterns. Have fun flying, journeying outward and inward, time traveling, and seeing what your unconscious has to tell you. IMPORTANT: To receive the event replay, [subscribe to my email list](https://ziplinemediaagency.activehosted.com/f/19). PLEASE BE ON TIME! The meeting will be locked shortly after we begin. **QUICK SAFETY CHECK** Breathwork is safe for most people. However, consult a healthcare professional before practicing breathwork if you have a significant health condition, including: \* Heart or lung issues \* History of aneurysms \* Uncontrolled/unstable high blood pressure \* Significant psychiatric symptoms (psychosis, dissociation) \* Osteoporosis \* Recent surgery \* Glaucoma \* Pregnancy **ABOUT ME** H

Roger Penrose's "The Road to Reality" discussion group

Join us every other Tuesday for an open-ended casual discussion with our book club for Roger Penrose's ***The Road to Reality,*** the magnum opus of one of the greatest theoretical physicists of our time. In a single volume, Penrose takes the reader from basic mathematical and logical arguments through advanced math and then onto modern physics, relativity, quantum theory, and beyond. Please have access to a copy of the book and have read at least one chapter prior to attending. We normally agree to read one particular chapter in advance and then spend our meeting time discussing that chapter and its problem set, sometimes branching off to other parts of the book. We support each other to go at whatever pace is comfortable and we discuss material that we find interesting or challenging. Those of us who want to work on the problem sets can help one another. Sometimes someone will want to make a mini-presentation on a topic of their liking. We also maintain a private chat room for those

Coach Shannon, owner of Fitness Realist, is a featured guest speaker for a special presentation with the private Women Ending Emotional Eating Group and Body Freedom Collective. More Than Muscle: The REAL Power of Strength Training explores how resistance training impacts far more than physical appearance. This educational presentation focuses on the powerful connection between strength training, long-term health, confidence, metabolism, mobility, bone density, and overall quality of life. It is a realistic, approachable conversation about using strength training to support the body through every stage of adulthood and learning how movement can become a form of self-care rather than punishment. • The true purpose of resistance training • Strength training and healthy aging • Metabolism, muscle preservation, and energy • Bone density, posture, and joint support • Confidence and body resilience • Building sustainable wellness habits beyond the

Making Friends As An Adult is HARD

Sat Jun 13 at 1:00 PM

**Over 600 people RSVPed for the workshop on June 6th so I am making an overflow option for you guys!** Making friends was easy when we were younger. You saw the same people every day. You had built in structure. You didn’t overthink it. As adults, it feels different. You can be socially capable and still feel socially disconnected. You can attend events and still not get invited back. You can meet interesting people and never move beyond small talk. This workshop is designed to change that. In this 60 minute session, you will learn the practical mechanics behind building real friendships in adulthood. Not just theory or motivation though hopefully you feel motivated afterwards, but this is about real social skills you can apply immediately. We will cover: How to make friends after moving to a new city How to get invited to more social plans How to build connection when you don’t drink Where to actually find your tribe What to say when a conversation starts dying How to turn sma

Deep Dive Conversation: Self-Compassion: Being on Your Own Side

Thu Jun 25 at 7:00 PM

How do you talk to yourself when no one is listening? What does your inner voice say when you make a mistake, fall short, or feel like you're failing? Join us for this month's Deep Dive Conversation as we explore Self-Compassion. A real practiced and revolutionary way of relating to yourself. In this interactive session we'll: * Get honest about the inner critic, where it comes from and why it is not actually keeping you safe. * Unpack what Self-Compassion really means and why it is not self-pity, weakness, or an excuse to stop growing. * Explore the three core elements of Self-Compassion: self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness. * Share practical tools for turning down the volume on self-judgment and turning up the volume on self-support. * Reflect on how being on your own side can transform not just how you feel but how you show up in every relationship in your life. We'll begin with a thought-provoking discussion, followed by a guided reflection exercise to help you apply
