Privacy policy

ElkoTonight is anonymous-first. We collect the minimum needed to deliver local event information and avoid abuse.

What we collect

• Anonymous visitors: a random session cookie, hashed IP for fraud detection, user-agent for mobile-vs-web routing. No third-party analytics.
• Account holders: phone or email, preferences you set, queries you ask, payment metadata via Stripe.
• Businesses claiming venues: contact info on your venue page, photos you upload, billing details via Stripe.

What we don't do

• No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party trackers.
• No selling or sharing data with third parties.
• No mobile/SMS data sharing: phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We use your number only to send the messages you requested; reply STOP anytime to opt out.
• No fingerprinting beyond user-agent.

Your rights

From your privacy page: export everything we have, forget your account, pause every notification channel, hide from public leaderboards.
